
Pittsburgh, PA (July 16, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday night in Downtown Pittsburgh, authorities said.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said the motorcycle was involved in a collision with another vehicle at about 8:45 p.m. near Grant Street and the Boulevard of the Allies. First responders found the motorcyclist on the downramp of the Boulevard of the Allies. Medics took him to the hospital in critical condition, and he died shortly after.
Authorities said the other vehicle’s driver stayed at the scene to speak with police, but no charges were announced or further details were reported. The crash is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police and Pittsburgh Police Department officers, and witnesses were asked to contact officers if they had additional information.
