Fatal Industrial Accidents in Pennsylvania
Fatal industrial accidents in Pennsylvania remain a major concern, with 82 deaths in the private sector related to industrial and manufacturing accidents in 2022 alone. Workers in high-risk industries like construction and transportation face significant dangers due to unsafe conditions, inadequate safety measures, or human error. Pennsylvania consistently ranks among the states with the highest number of fatal work injuries.
Despite improvements in safety protocols, workplace fatalities continue to affect families emotionally and financially. In cases of fatal industrial accidents, wrongful death lawsuits can offer compensation for medical bills, funeral costs, lost wages, and emotional distress. These lawsuits can be filed if negligence or misconduct is proven.
In Pennsylvania, the statute of limitations for wrongful death claims is typically two years, so it’s important to act promptly. Seeking help from an experienced attorney is essential to navigating the legal process and ensuring justice for the deceased and their families.
