Williamsport, PA (January 6, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred on January 5 in Williamsport, claiming the life of a 52-year-old pedestrian. The incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on Washington Blvd, near the intersection with West Third St.

According to the Lycoming County Coroner’s Office, Gerard Miles, a resident, was hit by a car while crossing Washington Blvd. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the collision, and Miles was transported to the hospital with severe injuries. Tragically, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
