Whitehall Township, PA (August 9, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred on Friday evening, resulting in the death of one individual and the critical injury of another. The incident took place around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of North 14th St and Pike St, as reported by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.

Rajgion Davis, 55, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide, attempted murder, and aggravated assault. Davis allegedly drove his grey sedan into a parked RAV-4 owned by Francesca Washington, then deliberately collided with Washington and two others, including Stephen Fistner, 53, who later succumbed to his injuries at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Washington remains in critical condition.

After the initial impact, Davis reversed and struck the victims and additional vehicles before fleeing. Emergency services, including ambulances and firefighters, responded to manage the scene and transport the injured. Davis was later apprehended by Allentown police after witnesses followed him and recorded the incident. Davis reportedly admitted his intention to harm Washington. The motive remains under investigation, though Davis and Washington were previously neighbors.

We offer our condolences to the family and friends of Stephen Fistner and hope for a swift recovery of the other victims.
