
Washington County, PA (July 4, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 sent at least one person to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, July 2, per local authorities.
Washington County dispatch confirmed the crash happened on I-79 northbound at Canonsburg (Exit 45). EMTs confirmed two people were being taken to the hospital via helicopter. Traffic was backed up for miles as a result of this crash, but no other details were released, and the incident is still being investigated at this time.
