Walker Township, PA (June 2, 2024) – At least two people were transported to the hospital following a crash Saturday in Schuylkill County.

According to county dispatchers, the crash occurred around 12:00 p.m. on Valley Road near the Blythe Township-Walker Township line. Dispatchers said fire companies from New England Valley, Tamaqua, and the Tamaqua Rescue Squad responded to the scene. No word yet on the exact number of people transported to the hospital or the extent of their injuries. However, an investigation is still ongoing, and officers asked witnesses to come forward right away.
