East Berlin Township, PA (June 1, 2024) – One person is dead after a wreck in East Berlin Saturday morning, the coroner’s office confirmed. According to Adams County 911 records, emergency crews were called to the scene of a vehicle crash on West King Street at Second Avenue in East Berlin Borough at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 1.
Adams County Chief Deputy Coroner, Scott Pennewill, said one person in a sedan was pronounced deceased inside their vehicle after the crash, which also involved a dump truck. Two people inside the dump truck sustained injuries, he said. Fire police shut down West King Street from Abbottstown Street to Third Street to conduct a crash reconstruction. Northeast Adams Fire & EMS was on the scene along with Community Life Team EMS and Pennsylvania State Police. However, no further details were released.
