
Royersford, PA (May 1, 2024) – Route 422 westbound was closed at the intersection with Route 29 on Wednesday afternoon, May 1, due to an accident that caused widespread congestion and delays and injuries to multiple parties.
Around 12:00 p.m., officers from the Royersford Police Department responded to the scene. Although details regarding the collision remain unclear, officials say it involved at least two to three vehicles. Authorities warned that additional traffic was anticipated along Route 29 and throughout the general “footprint” of the Spring-Ford area for the remainder of the afternoon.
