Penn Township, PA (June 12, 2024) – According to troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police, a person was airlifted to a Pittsburgh-area hospital, and another was injured Tuesday, June 11, following a two-vehicle crash near 365 Pittsburgh Road.

A medical helicopter was requested around 2:20 p.m. to transport a male victim of a crash. Per dispatch, the male suffered several lacerations. Penn Township police said the rear-end collision occurred as two trucks, one carrying a trailer, traveled south toward Butler. The car that hit the trailer was towed from the scene. However, the crash is under investigation, according to Penn Township police. No further details were released, though officers continued to investigate and asked any witnesses to step forward.
