Penn Township, PA (June 16, 2024) – Emergency dispatchers said the coroner was called to a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, June 15.
According to dispatch, the crash was in the westbound lanes near Horning Road in Penn Township, Lancaster County. The coroner says an adult male was found alongside the roadway and was pronounced dead. Per the coroner, a second person was taken to a Dauphin County hospital. It’s still unclear how the crash happened, and no further details were released about the victims or the total number of motorists involved. However, officers continued investigating and resumed their calls for witnesses to step forward.
