North Versailles, PA (May 21, 2024) – A motorcycle accident reported in North for sales on Sunday claimed one person’s life. The collision occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on May 19.
Official reports indicate that a motorcycle and an unknown number of vehicles collided on Westinghouse Avenue near Fifth Avenue. The incident prompted the closure of the intersection, allowing police and firefighters to work to remove the involved vehicles. One person involved in the accident, identified as 23-year-old Benjamin Petkovsek, was fatally injured in the crash. He was pronounced deceased on site. An unknown number of people were injured. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
