Milford, PA – Two Killed, Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Route 663

Milford, PA (February 3, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Friday, January 31, in Upper Bucks County resulted in the deaths of two people and left three others injured, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash took place around 8:30 p.m. on John Fries Highway (Route 663), just north of Brinkman Road. Authorities reported that a 2003 Ford Explorer, driven by 29-year-old Tori Gutshall of Quakertown, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2020 Ford Escape head-on. The impact sent the Ford Escape off the roadway into a wooded area, where it caught fire. Tragically, both occupants of the Escape were pronounced dead at the scene.

In an attempt to avoid the collision, a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas traveling in the southbound lane was also struck by the Ford Explorer. Moments later, a 2021 Ford Transit traveling in the same direction collided with the Volkswagen on the driver’s side.

Gutshall sustained serious injuries and was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Cedar Crest campus for treatment. A woman and a young girl in the Volkswagen were taken to St. Luke’s Quakertown for evaluation of possible injuries. The driver and passenger of the Ford Transit were unhurt.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims in the Ford Escape. The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has not provided further information regarding their identities or autopsies. The Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.

Our hearts and sympathies go out to the families affected by this terrible loss. We extend our best wishes and hope those injured make a full recovery.
