Corry, PA (May 9, 2024) – Details of a vehicle collision that happened earlier this week have been made public by the Pennsylvania State Police.  Troopers say an accident took place on Route 6, west of King Road, prompting the dispatch of officers at around 3:45 p.m. on Monday.

The collision involved a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT and a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox that collided on the eastbound side of Route 6. Both vehicles were towed, and one of the drivers was taken to LECOM Corry Memorial Hospital, along with a passenger who sustained injuries. The other motorist escaped unharmed. Corry Fire Department, Shambaugh Towing, and Corry EmergyCare responded to the site. However, no further details have been released on the cause of the accident, and the investigation is ongoing.
