Carlisle, PA (June 13, 2024) – According to the latest reports provided by authorities, a collision involving a truck and at least four other vehicles on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County occurred on Thursday, June 13, and caused significant delays and injuries.
The accident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Exit 45 to College Street in the greater Carlisle area. Fire, police, and medical personnel arrived on the site shortly. At least two to three people were reportedly hurt and taken to hospitals after the crash. The roadway has also since cleared following officers’ traffic management in the area, though area officials continue to investigate the incident in the interim.
