
Carbondale, PA (July 9, 2024) – According to state police, a woman is dead after a crash Tuesday morning in Lackawanna County. Per PSP troopers and Carbondale PD officers, two cars collided head-on just before 8:00 a.m. on Fallbrook Street (Route 106) in Fell Township. The Lackawanna County Coroner says a 34-year-old woman died at the scene. Three people were taken to hospital. No further details were released, though officers continued to investigate and asked any witnesses to step forward. In the meantime, the cause of the crash is under investigation by the Carbondale Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police. We offer our deepest condolences to the deceased woman’s family.
