Brentwood, PA (May 4, 2024) – According to Brentwood police, a pedestrian and a vehicle were involved in an accident on Saw Mill Run Boulevard on Saturday, resulting in the pedestrian’s death.

Allegheny County dispatch reports that the collision occurred at 4:15 a.m. in the 3300 block of Saw Mill Run Boulevard (State Route 51). The roadway was shut down while officers investigated, and authorities added that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The section of the road where the collision occurred has since reopened, but authorities say their inquiry into the cause of the crash is still ongoing. No further details were released in the interim, though witnesses were asked to come forward.
