Ryan M. Scanlon is an attorney at The Slocum Firm, PC. Ryan aggressively fights for injured clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. He is a certified workers’ compensation specialist by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Ryan has recovered millions of dollars in monetary benefits for his clients.

Ryan is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Fairfield University, where he earned a B.S. in Finance. Ryan has a diverse legal background. Prior to joining the Slocum Firm, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Lackawanna County, PA. Thereafter, Ryan worked at a regional insurance defense law firm, representing employers and insurance companies. Subsequently, Ryan used that knowledge base to advocate on behalf of injured workers at one of the largest workers’ compensation claimant firms in Pennsylvania, handling a large volume of workers’ compensation cases and zealously pursuing justice on behalf of his clients.

Ryan is an executive committee member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man/Woman of the Year Campaign. Ryan has also served as an advisor to the West Scranton High School Mock Trial team
