Washington County, PA (May 22, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash involving a garbage truck on May 21.

The crash happened on McClelland Road near the Kings on Route 19 in North Strabane Township. The coroner said the crash was witnessed by multiple passersby, who reported it to 911 dispatch shortly before 9:00 a.m. The motorcyclist, identified as 58-year-old Robert Klein, was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner’s report said. However, no further details have been reported. The crash is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police and North Strabane Township police, and witnesses were asked to contact officers if they had additional information.
