Tuscarora Twp., PA (December 24, 2024) – A fatal car crash occurred late Sunday afternoon in Tuscarora Township, resulting in one death and one serious injury. The incident, reported by the Pennsylvania State Police, took place at around 4:45 p.m. along U.S. Route 6 near the intersection with Kings Ridge Ln.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, two cars were involved in the crash. A 2019 Chevrolet, driven by a 20-year-old woman, collided with another car at the intersection. A 49-year-old woman was a passenger in the Chevrolet. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency responders, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet, who sustained a severe head injury, was immediately transported to Geisinger Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. Her current condition remains unknown.
