Tioga County, PA (July 30, 2024) – Four people were hurt after a car crash Tuesday in Delmar Township.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the driver of a car with two passengers inside tried to turn left onto Stony Fork Road from Pheasant Hill Road, but a driver in an oncoming car hit the turning car head-on. The accident happened shortly after 4:00 p.m., officers said.
According to police, all four people inside the cars were treated for serious injuries. The driver in the oncoming car was taken to UPMC Williamsport. The passengers in the car that tried to turn left were flown to Geisinger Medical Center Danville. The driver in the car that tried to turn left was taken to UPMC Wellsboro and released later that night. No word from police on the condition of the other three people involved in the crash. Although no further details have been released so far, local law enforcement officials are currently handling an inquiry into the causes leading to the crash.
