Slippery Rock Township, PA (July 20, 2024) – Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) stated that three people are dead, and another remains in critical condition after a crash in Lawrence County. The vehicle crash was reported on State Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township just after midnight on Saturday, July 20.
According to the PSP, one male driver and a 13-year-old boy were both ejected from one of the vehicles involved and pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old girl was entrapped and also pronounced dead at the site, while a 10-year-old girl was rescued by first responders and airlifted to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in critical condition. The Lawrence County Coroner’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police will continue the investigation in the interim.
