Pittsburgh, PA (July 23, 2024) – Pittsburgh Public Safety confirmed two vehicles were involved in a crash in the city’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Eckert Street and Shadeland Avenue. Authorities said that at least one of the motorists or passengers involved fled the scene. EMTs also responded, though it’s unclear how many victims sustained injuries, and their current conditions are also unknown. Pittsburgh police are launching an investigation and asked any witnesses to step forward.
