Motorcycle Crashes in Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh, PA - Teen Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash on Boyd School Rd

The United States Department of Transportation estimates that there will be 8.3 million motorcycles with valid license plates operating across the country this year. Of course, several factors make riding a motorcycle attractive, including its affordability and mobility as well as the independence and enjoyment one provides to a rider.

With that said, although there are numerous benefits to riding a motorcycle, there are also significant dangers to a rider or passenger’s safety. When compared to other drivers, motorcycle riders are more likely to be injured on the road, and they are particularly at risk when it comes to being involved in crashes with careless or negligent drivers.
