Philadelphia, PA (June 23, 2024) – A driver and a passenger are wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in North Philadelphia.
A 38-year-old man was killed, and another person was hurt in the crash. It happened on the 2000 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue just before 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. Investigators say the driver of a stolen Honda struck a Chevrolet, which spun out and hit a third vehicle. Officers were already in the area responding to reports of a separate incident. Meanwhile, one victim inside the Chevy was ejected and died at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Honda fled the area. Anybody with information is asked to contact police; however, no further details were released, and an investigation is presently ongoing.
