North East Township, PA (June 11, 2024) – State police say two vehicles were heavily damaged, and a handful of people were hurt after being involved in a crash on West Main Road in North East Township on Tuesday, June 11.

Firefighters freed multiple people trapped inside the vehicles as a result of the crash. The accident took place in front of the Dairy Queen near Gravel Pit Park in North East, officers added, and authorities arrived to assist those involved at around 1:20 p.m. It’s unknown how many people were ultimately taken to a hospital, though officials are still looking into the collision in the interim.
