Nationally, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) notes that wrong-way accidents, though only 1% of all highway crashes, account for nearly 10% of fatal crashes, highlighting their grave consequences.

In the wake of such tragedies, wrongful death claims become a crucial legal recourse for affected families. A wrongful death claim allows surviving family members to seek compensation for losses resulting from a loved one’s death due to another party’s negligence or intentional actions.
