Middlesex, PA (June 16, 2024) – Following a multi-car collision on Sunday afternoon, June 16, that caused major lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound, near mile marker 52 in Cumberland County, officers reported that at least two people were hurt in the incident.

At about 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon, a multi-car collision that left several hurt resulted in area roadway closures and emergency response. The road was blocked until workers removed and cleared the collision approximately an hour later. At this time, the severity of the injuries that victims sustained in the collision remains unknown. However, officers continued to investigate and asked any witnesses to step forward.
