Maxatawny Twp., PA (May 13, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Monday morning ended in injuries. The incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. on May 13.
Police reports show that a crash truck was stopped on the right, westbound side of Interstate 78 during the afternoon hours when it was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. The police closed the interstate near Stump Road at the underpass as they worked to clear the roadway. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further medical care. The accident is under investigation.
