Luzerne Co, PA (March 21, 2025) – A fatal hit-and-run occurred on Friday afternoon, March 21, in Luzerne County, resulting in the death of a 53-year-old man from Hartford, Connecticut. The incident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 near Conyngham in Butler Township.
According to state police, the victim was outside of his disabled vehicle when a commercial vehicle struck him.
