Lancaster County, PA (June 18, 2024) – Emergency crews were on the scene of a deadly multi-vehicle crash involving a cement truck and a sedan in Lancaster County on Tuesday, June 18, according to county control.
The accident happened in the 5500 block of Lincoln Highway/Route 30 near Hoffmeier Road in Salisbury Township just before 7:00 a.m. The coroner was called to the scene for at least one fatality, while Route 30 was shut down between Simmontown Road and Route 41. Pennsylvania State Police and the Lancaster Patrol Unit are investigating, but it’s still unclear how the crash happened, and no further details were released about any injured victims’ current conditions. However, officers continued investigating and resumed their calls for witnesses to step forward.
