
Erie, PA (May 26, 2024) – On Saturday afternoon, May 25, there was a truck accident reported in the greater Erie region that resulted in the hospitalization of two individuals, per local officers who responded to the scene of the crash.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision, which happened on 6th Street, on the eastbound side of the Bayfront Parkway. Calls for the accident were initially received around 4:00 p.m., though the cause of the collision is still being investigated. The westbound lanes between Interstate 380 and Blakeslee’s Exit 284 were blocked for almost eight hours in the interim, and officers have not yet released the latest updates on the victims’ current conditions. Witnesses were asked to come forward as soon as possible.
