Elizabethtown, PA (July 12, 2024) – According to the latest reports released by officers with the Elizabethtown Police Department, a two-vehicle crash involving a large truck occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12, in the greater Lancaster County area.

Crews and emergency services were called to a possible entrapment on Route 283 in Mount Joy Township and Elizabethtown as a result of the incident. As of 8:25 p.m., all lanes were back open for traffic, but there were some disruptions as crews remained on the scene. EMTs also transported at least one person to a nearby hospital. However, officials continued to investigate the incident in the interim, and no further information about the victims involved has been made available thus far.
