Lancaster County, PA (June 27, 2024) – One person is dead after a vehicle crash on Thursday, June 27, in Lancaster County.

According to records from Garden Spot Fire Rescue, there was a fatal crash around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Peters Road and Shirk Road. Crews were called for a vehicle accident with reported entrapment and found one person trapped and two vehicles in fields on separate sides of the road. One person was eventually pronounced dead at the scene. It’s still unclear how the crash happened, and no further details were released about the injured victims’ current conditions. However, officers continued investigating and called for witnesses to step forward.
