Holding degrees from Franklin & Marshall College, Hofstra University School of Law, and Temple University School of Law, Matthew Slocum spent the earlier stages of his legal career honing his superior litigation abilities in Temple’s renowned Trial Advocacy Program. As Mr. Slocum’s burgeoning reputation as a gifted trial lawyer grew, Matthew moved on to work with prestigious law firms in Philadelphia and New York.
After years of success advocating on behalf of such larger firms, Matthew decided to focus his career in a more personal and specialized direction. In 2009, he returned to his hometown of Scranton, PA, and founded the Slocum Firm, PC in order to focus on cases he believes have purpose and significance far beyond the courtroom.
Throughout her career, Arianne Slocum has developed a passion and keen understanding of the need for strong legal advocacy on behalf of those whose rights are most vulnerable. After graduating from Lafayette College, Arianne continued her studies and received her J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. Diverse public and private sector experiences in the ensuing years, from pharmaceutical litigation defense to serving as Senior Clerk for Common Pleas Judges, cultivated a reputation for Arianne as an exhaustive researcher, impeccable writer, and aggressive litigator.
Joining The Slocum Firm in 2011, Arianne continues to build on her sterling reputation specializing in plaintiff’s litigation with a focus on medical malpractice, civil rights, and personal injury.
